- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We had the worst experience renting through here. When we first moved in 4 years ago it was great until the neighbor moved in next door. We got noise complaints when we weren't home, asleep or when I had laryngitis and bronchitis. We felt like we couldn't ask the landlord when things were broken because she wasn't approchable. Then she wanted to evict us for no real cause. She bullied us and threatened to throw our stuff out. Told us she went to the courts to evict us and never did and told us we had to pay the fee to evict us. She charged us late fees without us signing anything after 3 years of living there and charged us $50 extra if we didn't pay rent after 3 days. We were nothing but cooperative when asking us to move out doing our best to get out of there, but she was nothing but a bully. After telling us she was evicting us she kept referring us to other apartments through her company and referring us to her daughter. If we were such bad tenants why refer us to family unless you dislike them that much. I believe there was some discrimination involved with us being young. I think because we were young she thought we didn't know what our right were as a tenant. I would never refer anyone to them if they wanted to rent or buy a home. Our landlord was Patty Emery I never saw her smile once so it made it feel like she wasn't approchable. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I spent the first 6 months there sleeping on the couch because of a dog next door that would bark all night right up against my bedroom wall. Then we were scolded for having a visiting dog for a night. We weren't partiers and worked hard. my sister and i lived together with her 4 year old daughter.By Jordyn Fitzpatrick, January 06, 2018
